STL Club News! Feb-07-2005

Alright people!
Its a new year, a new beginning, and a great time to refresh this club and ourselves with the light and life of God! ^__^

First thing first! We have anew admin !!!
Who is it?! WHO?!!!! Who is this crazy hyper person typing up this message?!!! Hahahah!
Okay, okay, I'll stop stalling.
My name is Vashti, aka on DA as ~ celestialmaiden. I am a new member of STL as well as the new admin. God led me here somehow, and gave me the desire to want to help out *hahaiseeurmind with the club. Next thing I knew, I have a club to run! I never really thought I'd be actually heading a club on DA before. But its cool how God opens doors and opportunities for you when you least expect it.
btw, Nicole/hahaiseeurmind did not leave the club. She is very much still apart of it and helping me with my questions.

This next note is for YOU! *points to you like Uncle Sam*

The bible says, "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord."
(Don't believe me? Thats in Romans 12:11)

This is a really good verse that came to me just now and it really speaks to me. I hope it does the same for you.

What is Zeal?
noun.
Enthusiastic devotion to a cause, ideal, or goal and tireless diligence in its furtherance.

and Fervor?
noun.
1) Great warmth and intensity of emotion.
2) Intense heat.

So ... what's my point?!
What I'm saying is YES, I am the new admin for the club, but this club is not a club without YOU my brothers and sisters in Christ!
A body without arms and legs or eyes and lips are not able to function as easily as it should.
This is the same for us, because we are like "the body of Christ."
("Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." 1 Corinthians 12:27 )

I understand that a lot of us are busy because of life. Absolutely. Thats what life does. But please DO NOT forget the One who gave life to you in the first place through your mom and though Jesus Christ.
If not devote 2 minutes to this club everytime you log on, at least take sometime in your normal life to do something for God.
And don't let your relationship with Him become dead or boring! Be ZEALOUS! Keep your fire for him burning all the time!

I am working towards a goal where our lanterns will be so bright with the light of the Lord that it will stretch to the dark corners of the world and we will be equiped to go out and spread the light further out to everyone, in Jesus' name. Amen.

We have some pretty ugly spam work in the comments section of the club's page. LOL. Lets make this our first group project ... to spring clean lol, jk. But I'd like to bump the spam out. That would be cool if you guys can help out with that.
